Noushin was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. She graduated from high school at age 16 and continued her education at the University of California Davis. Due to the Iranian revolution and migration of her family to Los Angeles, she finished her undergraduate degree at UCLA in 1981 with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. Noushin is currently finishing work on her first book which deals with the different protocols of Psychoneurology illustrated with case studies from her practice. This book is intended as support for students of the field as well as those parents and/or patients who are seeking alternative methods of healing.
